Description
ABBA is a Swedish popdisco music group formed in Stockholm in 1972 by Anieta Feltzkog, Björn Ulvius, Benny Andersson and Ani-Frid Lingstad.[1] The band name is an acronym of the first letters of the band members’ names and sometimes stylized as the trademark ᗅᗺᗷᗅ. They are one of the most commercially successful bands in pop music history, topping the charts around the world from 1975-1982. They are also known for their Eurovision win in 1974, Sweden’s first in the contest’s history and remains the fastest group to ever take part in the contest.
