Iron Maiden is an English heavy metal band. He is one of the most popular representatives of the genre and especially of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, for more than forty years. They have sold over 100 million copies, although they have never had the support of radio, television or the wider music press. Tracks such as The Trooper, The Number of the Beast, Fear of the Dark, Run to the Hills, Hallowed Be Thy Name, Aces High and Seventh Son Of a Seventh Son are some of the greatest not only for heavy metal, but also generally for the rock scene.
