BTS (Korean: 방탄소년단, Bangtan Sonyeondan), also known as bangtan, is a seven-member South Korean boy band consisting of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook or Kim Namjoon, Kim Seokjin, Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook who are behind writing and producing a significant part of the music production. The group was formed by Big Hit Entertainment and debuted on June 13, 2013 with the song “No More Dream” from their first album 2 Cool 4 Skool. They won various Artist of the Year awards for this track, including the 2013 Melon Music Awards and Golden Disc Awards and the 2014 Seoul Music Awards. The band continued to rise to increasingly widespread exposure with their follow-up albums Dark & Wild (2014), The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 2 (2015) and The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever, released on May 2 2016.
